Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

A: All orders are normally shipped within 5 business days, but typically much faster than this!

There are rare occurrences when it may take a few extra days to mail your items, especially if we have received a large volume of orders all at once during a new release period.
Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of the postal service, the shipping option you selected, and your distance from the state of Maine. International shipping (including Canada) delivery times may vary between 2-8 weeks.

All domestic and certain international destinations will be shipped with tracking included so you can keep track of where you package is and when to expect it.

NOTE: All items are packed well to ensure safe delivery, but we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss caused by the Postal Service during transit - we are not responsible once the package is shipped and leaves our hands!


Q: Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

A: Yes, worldwide. Certain destinations also include Tracking, see a full list here:

Q: Why are your international shipping prices so high?

A: Preface: We have no control over these prices.
The USPS decided to raise their rates again in January 2016. Unfortunately we have no control over this (very high) amount they decide to charge.

The bad: rates went up.
The good: You can now order up to 3 tapes for the same shipping cost as 1 tape.

To explain further:
You can order 1 tape and the shipping will be $10 Canada/$13 elsewhere. (under 8oz)
You can order 2 tapes and the shipping will be $10 Canada/$13 elsewhere. (under 8oz)
You can order 3 tapes and the shipping will be $10 Canada/$13 elsewhere. (under 8oz)
Over 8oz there is a jump to the next price tier as outlined in the tables at the bottom of this page.

Therefore we strongly suggest that you order more than 1 item at a time to minimize the cost to you, or order together with a friend in your country.
We hope this suggestion will help to minimize the costs involved with ordering from the USA to overseas.

Note also that our releases are typically distributed by the following labels in Canada and Europe, should you wish to try and order our releases from a closer locale:
Tour De Garde (canada), Wulfrune Worxxx (france), Depressive Illusions (ukraine), Werewolf Promotion (poland), Nebular Winter Productions (greece) and Radiant Eye Rex (greece). We are looking for more partners in other locations too (especially Asia/Australia) so please contact us if interested in distribution.


Q: What is your return and exchange policy?

A: All sales are final. No returns or exchanges unless we accidentally mail you an incorrect item. However - in over 10 years of doing mailorder, this has never happened. If an item is defective we will replace it free of charge, of course.


Q: How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?

A: The checkout process is powered by PayPal, one of the most trusted online payment solutions on the web. Because of this, we have all the same securities and payment fraud protection. When paying with PayPal, you may make payment using your credit/debit card, paypal account, or your bank account (note that using an 'e-check' may delay your order as it requires time to clear).

Note: If you do not have a paypal account and/or want to pay with your credit card directly, you can do so if you use the "Checkout as a Guest" feature.


Q: Do you offer trades for your releases?

A: Yes... but it totally depends on what you are offering! We have a high priority on TAPE releases but if you have a CD or vinyl only release we may be open to that too
To sum up: contact us if you have quality releases of dungeon synth, black metal or dark ambient - nothing else!!


Q: Do you accept demo submissions?

A: Yes, but with a few caveats:
1) Priority is given to PHYSICAL submissions sent to us on tape/CD/vinyl formats! (Send to: PO Box 8597, Portland, ME 04104, USA).
2) Otherwise a simple link to your audio sample and short description is fine.
3) Feel free to send something our way but we can do not guarantee a reply!

4) Sending follow up messages in a day or two after submission asking "Did you check out our demo yet?!?!?" guarantees we will never listen to your work and send it straight to the trash.

5) Note that our release schedule is already planned well into the future, so we are not actively searching out new stuff to release at the moment, but the future is not written in stone, so who knows. Thanks.


Q: What are your exact shipping costs?

A: We use a weighted shipping calculation system, based on actual USPS rates (http://www.usps.com)
